Quarantining after a negative COVID-19 test

Q: My child was exposed to COVID-19, but just tested negative. Are we good?
A: Only if it’s been more than 14 days since the last time your child was exposed. Some people don’t get COVID-19 until day 12, 13, or 14. Your child should quarantine for all 14 days just to be safe.
