Changes to claims pre-processing electronic data interchange (EDI) starting Feb. 18, 2024

Effective Feb. 18, 2024, Hennepin Health will implement the following 837I pre-processing EDI edit:
• The Occurrence Code 55 (2300, HI0X.2) must be present when the Patient Discharge status (2300, CL103) equals 20, 40, 41, or 42.
• Any claims that are not compliant will be reported by the 277 claims acknowledgment process through the provider’s clearinghouse.
