Hennepin Health MinnesotaCare (MNCare) is a managed care program that brings a full network of healthcare services within reach at an affordable monthly premium that is paid to the State. If you live in Hennepin County and are eligible for the State MNCare program– we have you covered.
MNCare is for adults and families with children who don't qualify for Medical Assistance.
You can apply for coverage online. Complete the application for Minnesota Health Care Programs at https://www.mnsure.org/.
What to do at https://www.mnsure.org/:
If you qualify, you will be contacted by Hennepin County, DHS or your tribal agency to choose a health plan. You may be able to request Hennepin Health for your health coverage.
Your monthly fee (premium) depends on your income and family size. You may have to pay a dollar amount (co-pay) for some services or when you get a prescription filled.
For a complete list of benefits, see the MNCare member handbook.
