Telehealth is one of your health care options

Telehealth is a covered benefit service for all members when:

• It is a medically necessary service and consultation.
• It is delivered by a licensed care provider.
• It supports health care delivery and facilitates assessment, diagnosis, consultation, treatment education and care management of the member.

Telehealth – also called e-visits or video visits – is a good option to treat many common conditions. It is a real-time 2-way telephone or video (similar to Skype or Zoom) call. It’s a convenient way to get personalized care from the comfort of your own home.

Not all clinics offer telehealth or offer it for all conditions. Ask your clinic if they offer telehealth.
