Monkeypox testing and vaccination

  • 09/25/2022

~ from Hennepin County News

Hennepin County is offering monkeypox testing and vaccination

If you develop a rash (bumps, sores, or blisters) and are worried that you might have monkeypox (MPX) or believe you have been exposed to it, contact your primary health care provider. If you don’t have a primary health care provider, you are welcome to call Hennepin County’s Red Door Clinic at 612-543-5555. Note: providers can only test for MPX if a rash is present.

Hennepin County’s Red Door Clinic is also offering vaccination for people at highest risk for MPX infection, including men who have sex with men, people who have been exposed to MPX, and other risk factors. Please call the clinic at 612-543-5555.

For more information about MPX, including symptoms, harm reduction, and managing symptoms, visit reddoorclinic.org/monkeypox.
