On Tuesday, June 27, providers can attend a free webinar hosted by the Healthy Start Performance Improvement Project. The webinar features Kendra Gludt, MPH, Director of National Programs at Proof Alliance, who will discuss screening and brief interventions for alcohol use during pregnancy. Kendra will also provide guidance on having challenging but non-stigmatizing conversations about drinking alcohol during pregnancy. Providers may register for the free session online.
Six health plans launched the Healthy Start Performance Improvement Project in the spring of 2021. The project focuses on ensuring a “healthy start” for Minnesota children by improving services provided to pregnant women and infants, and focusing on reducing health disparities.
